Cast Iron Beaded Half Round Gutter Union Clip
The Beaded Half Round union clip is designed to join two plain pieces of guttering which have had the sockets cut off. The cast iron gutter union clip sits on the outside of the guttering helping to reduce wastage and costs by re-using cut pieces.
The union clip forms part of our Beaded Half Round cast iron gutters range and is designed to reduce wastage by allowing you to reuse cut pieces. This union is specifically for use on the Beaded Half Round profile and fits externally to cut pieces.
The cast iron Beaded Half Round union clip is supplied in either a grey primer or gloss black painted finish.
Cast iron gutters and pipes enhance the appearance of both traditional and contemporary projects whilst providing significant benefits over other rainwater systems. Cast iron guttering, pipes and hopper heads offer unrivalled strength, durability, low operational noise levels, environmental benefits and a lifespan that makes the installation of these products a once-in-a-generation event.
A gutter is a cast iron trough with a socket at one end and a spigot at the other for making internal and external connections to other gutter lengths and fittings, for example, outlets, that connect to a rainwater pipe. Gutters collect rainfall as it runs off the roof and allows the water to drain away from the fabric of the building into the drain pipes and then the drains. Cast iron gutters should be straight as if badly warped this makes installation problematic. As with cast iron rainwater pipes, they should have an even and consistent finish that will allow for the unobstructed flow of rainwater. Both our cast iron plain half-round and beaded half-round gutters are cast centrifugally to ensure that the gutters are straight and have an even metal thickness.
You might be considering other materials for your project but did you realise that there are a number of significant benefits of choosing a cast iron rainwater system that go beyond a traditional appearance?
Cast iron has stood the test of time and is ideally suited to both rainwater and soil drainage systems. It offers many benefits to not only yourself but also your contractor.
Quality Standards - Premier Rainwater products are manufactured in accordance with BS 460 and Premier Soil products conform to BS 416. Standards for cast iron rainwater and soil drainage products have remained remarkably constant for many years. This reflects cast iron's longevity, durability, suitability for the purpose it serves, proven design and cost-effectiveness. It also means that replacing or integrating with an existing system can, in most cases, be completed with ease. The Premier range of cast iron rainwater goods is primed in grey metal primer with rust inhibitors designed to protect products in storage and transit and offer a base for the top coat of paint. Our pre-finished Premier Extra products are painted in a strong gloss paint which has been developed specifically for the use of our primer. Premier LCC Soil range is supplied in a durable black bitumen paint finish as is traditional and products are based on imperial dimensions so ensuring compatibility when replacing or extending existing installations.
