Our cast iron square rainwater pipes are offered in a variety of lengths and this version is the eared variety with the fixing ears cast as part of the collar. The large capacity of the square downpipes makes them ideal for larger projects and are supplied with a wide selection of fittings. All our cast iron rainwater pipes are available in either a grey transit primer or in the Premier Extra gloss black painted finish.
Our cast iron square-eared downpipe is available in a range of sizes and lengths. The sizes shown relate to the external dimensions of the pipe and these include:
3"x3" (75mm x 75mm) Flow rate 3.6 litres/sec
4"x4" (100mm x 100mm) Flow rate 8.3 litres/sec
5"x5" (125mm x 125mm) Flow rate 16.1 litres/sec
The fixing ears on our rainwater pipes are part of the casting and not stuck on afterward. By casting the fixing ears during the manufacturing of the downpipe, it ensures greater strength and stability.

Some of our cast iron products such as the ornamental rainwater hopper heads and the rectangular and square rainwater pipes are made to order. They are available within the Metal & Glass cast iron range but need to be cast or fabricated with timescales being slightly longer than our off-the-shelf stock products. They can be ordered securely via our website in exactly the same way as ex-stock products. These cast iron made-to-order items are available in both the grey primer and gloss black painted finish.
