Our square-to-round connector is designed to connect our square cast iron rainwater pipe to our round cast iron rainwater pipe. As such the conversion is designed to fit with our 2.5″ (65mm), 3″ (75mm) or 4″ (100mm) pipes. Due to the size of the pipe, the 3″x3″ connector should only be used with a 65mm or 75mm outlet. The square pipe rectangular to round pipe connector allows for connection between our square and round cast iron rainwater pipes. It is not specifically designed to join cast iron to any other materials such as plastic or aluminium so please refer to our standard gutter and pipe sizing details. The cast iron connector is supplied uneared so is supported by the pipes above and below the connection.
Our cast iron square rainwater pipe connector is available in three sizes which are 3″x3″, 4″x4″ and 5″x5″. We offer connection to 3 sizes of round cast iron rainwater pipe although it should be noted that the 3"x3" pipes are best suited to 65mm and 75mm connections.
Our square cast iron rainwater pipe connectors are produced to a high standard to ensure both uniformity of shape and thickness.
The square rainwater pipe design is a popular option for prestige projects and fits well with some of our larger cast iron gutter profiles. It is ideal for heritage or listed properties and will offer great benefits to more contemporary projects. This loose socket is the plain version as it does not have the fixing ears on the collar.
The dimensions of the cast iron square rainwater pipe connector are:
75x75mm (3″x3″) = 243mm collar with a 150mm spigot
100x100mm (4″x4″) = 245mm collar with a 150mm spigot
125x125mm (5″x5″) = 245mm collar with a 150mm spigot
Some of our cast iron products such as the cast iron square rainwater pipes are made to order. They are available within the Metal & Glass cast iron range but need to be cast or fabricated with timescales being slightly longer than our off-the-shelf stock products. They can be ordered securely via our website in exactly the same way as ex-stock products. These cast iron made-to-order items are available in both the grey primer and gloss black painted finish.
